December 9 (SeeNews) - The number of foreign tourists who visited Bosnia's Federation in October rose by 21.8% on the year, reaching 104,582, data by the entity's statistical office shows.
Foreign tourists spent 193,845 overnights in the Federation in October, up 26.9% year-on-year, according to figures published by the entity's statistical office.
In October, the total number of tourists who visited the Federation rose by 22.3% to 128,156. Total tourist overnights increased by 28.4% on the year to 235,271.
Most foreign tourists who visited the Federation in October came from China (16%), followed by tourists from Croatia (9.7%) and Germany (7.7%).
The Federation is one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
