May 30 (SeeNews) - The number of foreign tourists who visited Bosnia's Federation in April rose by 13.5% on the year, reaching 87,787, the entity's statistical office said.
Foreign tourists spent 166,413 overnights in the Federation in April, up 16.2% year-on-year, the entity's statistical office said in a statement on Wednesday.
In April, the total number of tourists who visited the Federation rose 14.3% to 111,194. Total tourist overnights increased by 17.4% on the year to 208,379.
Most foreign tourists visiting the Federation in April came from Croatia (11.1%), followed by tourists from China (8.0%) and Germany (7.9%).
The Federation is one of the two autonomous entities forming Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
