August 29 (SeeNews) - The number of foreign tourists who visited Bosnia's Federation in July rose by 17.5% on the year, reaching 133,125, the entity's statistical office said on Thursday.
Foreign tourists spent 287,753 overnights in the Federation in July, up 12.5% year-on-year, the entity's statistical office said in a statement.
In July, the total number of tourists who visited the Federation rose by 16% to 154,634. Total tourist overnights increased by 12.4% on the year to 335,081.
Most foreign tourists visiting the Federation in July came from Saudi Arabia (19%), followed by tourists from Turkey (7.9%) and China (6.5%).
The Federation is one of the two autonomous entities forming Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
