November 3 (SeeNews) - A total of 103,219 foreign tourists visited Bosnia and Herzegovina in September, compared with 59,870 in September 2021, the country's statistical office said on Thursday.
Foreign tourists spent 207,158 overnights in Bosnia in September, up 51% on the year, Bosnia's Agency for Statistics said in a monthly report.
The total number of tourists who visited the country in September was 158,370, up 51.5% on the year.
Total tourist overnights increased 37.8% to 328,620.
In September most foreign visitors to Bosnia and Herzegovina came from Serbia (13,024), followed by tourists from Croatia (10,290) and Turkey (8,704).
Foreign tourist arrivals to Bosnia surged 153% on the year in 2021.
