April 4 (SeeNews) - A total of 52,454 foreign tourists visited Bosnia and Herzegovina in February, compared with 40,557 in the same month of 2022, official figures showed on Tuesday.
Foreign tourists spent 136,614 overnights in Bosnia in February, up 30.7% on the year, Bosnia's Agency for Statistics said in a monthly report.
The total number of tourists who visited the country in February was 88,426, up 19% on the year.
Total tourist overnights increased 18.5% to 206,368.
In February most foreign visitors to Bosnia and Herzegovina came from Croatia (16,771), followed by tourists from Serbia (10,617) and Slovenia (3,789).
Foreign tourist arrivals to Bosnia surged 81% on the year in 2022.
