March 6 (SeeNews) - A total of 52,832 foreign tourists visited Bosnia and Herzegovina in January, compared with 41,813 in January 2022, official figures showed on Monday.
Foreign tourists spent 134,345 overnights in Bosnia in January, up 21.8% on the year, Bosnia's Agency for Statistics said in a monthly report.
The total number of tourists who visited the country in January was 88,044, up 14.7% on the year.
Total tourist overnights increased 12.6% to 208,272.
In January most foreign visitors to Bosnia and Herzegovina came from Croatia (17,303), followed by tourists from Serbia (10,039) and Slovenia (3,505).
Foreign tourist arrivals to Bosnia surged 81% on the year in 2022.
