January 3 (SeeNews) - A total of 33,905 foreign tourists visited Bosnia and Herzegovina in November, compared with just 9,592 in the same month of 2020, when coronavirus restrictions led to a drop in tourist visits, figures showed on Monday.
Foreign tourists spent 77,876 overnights in Bosnia in November, compared with 21,844 in November 2020, Bosnia's Agency for Statistics said in a monthly report published on its website.
The total number of tourists who visited the country in November was 67,570, up 131% on the year.
Total tourist overnights increased to 146,900 from 64,206.
In November, most foreign visitors to Bosnia and Herzegovina came from Serbia, 6,486, followed by tourists from Croatia, 5,572, Turkey, 2,430, United Arab Emirates, 2,038, and Saudi Arabia, 1,806.
