July 10 (SeeNews) - The number of foreign tourists who visited Bosnia in the first five months of 2018 grew 17.1% on the year, reaching 334,330, according to official data from the country's statistical office.
The total number of tourists staying in the country in January-May increased by 13.3% year-on-year to 494,351, data posted on the website of Bosnia's Agency for Statistics showed.
Total tourist overnights increased to 1,013,109 through May, up 14.5% year-on-year. Of them, foreign tourist overnights accounted for 68.0%, or 688,602 - up 15.5% on the year.
Visitors from Croatia accounted for 18.2% of all foreign tourist overnights in the first four months, followed by visitors from Serbia with 11.7% and Turkey with 7.7%.
