September 6 (SeeNews) - The number of foreign tourists who visited Bosnia in July grew by 15% on the year, reaching 156,356, the country's statistical office said on Friday.
Foreign tourists spent 329,756 overnights in Bosnia in July, up 10.7% year-on-year, the Agency for Statistics said in a monthly report.
On a monthly comparison basis, the total number of tourist visits grew by 7.8% to 193,043 and was up 12% year-on-year in July. Total tourist overnights grew 8.6% on the year and rose by 21% month-on-month.
Visitors from Saudi Arabia accounted for 18% of all foreign tourist overnights spent in Bosnia in July, followed by visitors from the United Arab Emirates, 8%, and Poland with 6.7%.
