May 12 (SeeNews) - A total of 43,247 foreign tourists visited Bosnia and Herzegovina in March, compared with 16,572 in March 2021, the country's statistical office said.
Foreign tourists spent 97,949 overnights in Bosnia in March, up 139.4% on the year, Bosnia's Agency for Statistics said in a monthly report last week.
The total number of tourists who visited the country in March was 83,472, up 97.5% on the year.
Total tourist overnights increased 80.4% to 179,613.
In March, most foreign visitors to Bosnia and Herzegovina came from Serbia (10,244), followed by tourists from Croatia (8,545), and Slovenia (3,243).
Foreign tourist arrivals to Bosnia surged 153% on the year in 2021.
