December 14 (SeeNews) - A total of 53,177 foreign tourists visited Bosnia and Herzegovina in October, compared with just 14,406 in the same month of 2020, when coronavirus restrictions led to a drop in tourist visits, figures showed.
Foreign tourists spent 119,369 overnights in Bosnia in October, compared with 32,428 in October 2020, Bosnia's Agency for Statistics said in a monthly report published on its website.
The total number of tourists who visited the country in October was 93,573, up from 43,763 in the same month last year. Total tourist overnights increased to 205,708 from 103,484.
In October, most foreign visitors to Bosnia and Herzegovina came from Croatia, 7,088, followed by tourists from Serbia, 6,704, and Saudi Arabia, 4,178.
