July 9 (SeeNews) - The number of foreign tourists who visited Bosnia in May grew by 7.1% on the year, reaching 117,115, the country's statistical office said.
Foreign tourists spent 207,194 overnights in Bosnia in May, up 5.6% year-on-year, the Agency for Statistics said in a monthly report on Monday.
On a monthly comparison basis, the total number of tourists grew by 5.5% to 152,746 and was up 1.7% year-on-year in May. Total tourist overnights edged down by 0.2% on the year and fell at the same rate month-on-month.
Visitors from Serbia accounted for 9.3% of all foreign tourist overnights spent in Bosnia in May, followed by visitors from Croatia with 9.1% and China with 8.3%.
