December 9 (SeeNews) - The number of foreign tourists who visited Bosnia in October grew by 20.7% on the year, reaching 124,903, the country's statistical office said on Monday.
Foreign tourists spent 240,228 overnights in Bosnia in October, up 22.4% year-on-year, the statistical office said in a statement.
The total number of tourist visits grew by an annual 19.7% and fell by a monthly 2% to 166,335 in October. Total tourist overnights grew 22.3% on the year and lost 0.6% month-on-month to 326,642.
Visitors from Croatia accounted for 12.3% of all foreign tourist overnights spent in Bosnia in October, followed by visitors from China (8.5%) and Germany (7.4%).
The number of foreign tourists who visited Bosnia in January-October rose by 13.6% to 1,080,743.
