April 8 (SeeNews) - The number of foreign tourists who visited Bosnia in February fell by 7.2% on the year, reaching 42,396, the country's statistical office said.
Foreign tourists spent 112,000 overnights in Bosnia in February, down 6.6% year-on-year, the statistical office said in a statement earlier this week.
The total number of tourists who visited Bosnia in February fell 3% on the year and dropped 8.3% on the month to 71,771. Total tourist overnights declined 3.2% on the year and fell 8.6% month-on-month to 170,055.
Visitors from Croatia accounted for 30% of all foreign tourist overnights spent in Bosnia in February, followed by visitors from Serbia (24%) and Slovenia (7.2%).
The number of foreign tourists who visited Bosnia in 2019 rose by 13.8% year-on-year, reaching 1,198,059.
