December 22 (SeeNews) - Albania was visited by 358,350 foreign tourists in November, up from 244,061 in the same month of last year, the country's statistical office said on Thursday.
Foreign tourist arrivals reached 7.2 million in the eleven months through November, up 31.9% compared with the same period a year earlier, the statistical office said in a statement.
In November alone, the number of domestic tourists rose to 450,463 from 304,758 in the same month of 2021. Overall, the total number of domestic and foreign tourists rose to 808,813 in the month under review, from 548,819 a year earlier.
In 2021, the total number of foreign nationals who visited Albania jumped 114% year-on-year, reaching 5.7 million.
