December 6 (SeeNews) - Albania attracted 365,227 foreign tourists in October, compared with 298,712 who visited the country in the same month last year, the country's statistical office said on Tuesday.
Foreign tourist arrivals reached 6.4 million in the ten months through October, up 29% compared with the same period a year earlier, the statistical office said in a statement.
In October alone, the number of domestic tourists rose to 389,158 from 302,810 in October 2021. Overall, the total number of domestic and foreign tourists came in at 754,385 million in the month under review, compared with 601,522 in the same month in 2021.
In 2021, the total number of foreign nationals who visited Albania jumped 114% to 5.7 million.
