April 25 (SeeNews) - Albania attracted 384,028 foreign tourists in March, compared with 275,976 in the same month last year, the country's statistical office said on Tuesday.
Foreign tourist arrivals reached 1.07 million in the January-March period, compared with 671,210 in the same period a year earlier, the statistical office said in a statement.
In March alone, the number of domestic tourists rose to 462,617 from 356,985 in March 2022. Overall, the total number of domestic and foreign tourists came in at 846,645 in the month under review, compared with 632,961 in the same month in 2022.
Albania was visited by 7.5 million foreign tourists in 2022, up 32.6% compared with the previous year.
