BELGRADE (Serbia), December 29 (SeeNews) – The number of foreign tourists who visited Serbia in November grew 7.6% on the year, reaching 93,582, statistical office data showed on Friday.
The number of overnights spent by foreign tourists in Serbia rose by 7.1% year-on-year, to 201,736 in November, according to data posted on the website of Serbia's statistical office.
In the eleven months through November, the total number of foreign tourist arrivals rose 17.6% year-on-year to 1,386,097, while the total number of overnights spent by foreign tourists added 16.4% to 2,939,252.
Croatia was Serbia's biggest feeder market in November, with 8,481 tourists, up 7.9% on the year. Bosnian citizens followed, up 3.1% to 7,847. Visitors from Bulgaria came third, up 29.7% to 6,353.
The number of domestic tourists increased 7.5% on the year to 97,371 in November, taking the total number of tourists to 190,953, up 7.6%.
