January 7 (SeeNews) - A total of 36 foreign cruise ships made 205 journeys to Croatian seaports in the first 11 months of 2021, up from 10 vessels that made 26 journeys in the same period of 2020 but still far below the pre-pandemic numbers of 2019, the country's statistical office said on Friday.
There were 193,843 passengers on board the cruise ships that visited Croatia in January-November 2021, up from just 4,138 in the same period of the previous year, when the tightening of COVID-19 restrictions led to a drop in the number of passengers, the statistical office said in a monthly report.
