April 25 (SeeNews) - The Bulgarian unit of German footwear retailer Deichmann said on Tuesday it generated 30.9 million levs ($17 million /15.3 million euro) in revenues in 2016, up by 2.7% compared to the previous year.
The company's Bulgarian stores sold 630,000 pairs of shoes last year.
Deichmann recently opened its online store and it is working towards facilitating the connection between online and offline channels, Vladimir Vladimirov, CEO of Deichmann's Bulgarian unit, said in the statement.
The company said it plans to open a new store in the capital Sofia in 2017.
Deichmann operates 21 stores in Bulgaria.
