PODGORICA (Montenegro), January 5 (SeeNews) – Low-cost airline Flydubai said it is considering starting flights to Montenegro in the first half of the year but has not decided yet whether it will fly to Tivat or Podgorica.
Flydubai intends to discontinue flights to Croatia's Zagreb and has no immediate plans for flights to Slovenia's Ljubljana, the company said in an e-mailed statement to SeeNews on Thursday.
In September, Flydubai said it would operate a charter flight from Dubai to Tivat on October 3 that would carry a business delegation from the United Arab Emirates, representatives of tour operators, journalists and airline officials.
Flydubai operated its last flight to Zagreb on November 6. The company started flights to Zagreb in December 2014 and operated the route three times a week with Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
Elsewhere in Southeastern Europe, Flydubai operates flights to Belgrade, Sarajevo, Skopje, Sofia and Bucharest.
