PODGORICA (Montenegro), November 3 (SeeNews) – Dubai-based airline Flydubai said it started on Thursday operating flights to Montenegro’s Podgorica, its eighth destination to join the airline’s network in Central and Eastern Europe.
The twice a week service includes a regional connection to Bosnia and Herzegovina's capital Sarajevo, the company said in a statement on Thursday.
"Following our popular flights to Tivat this summer we look forward to the opportunities that this route will bring for both Montenegro and the UAE. We would like to thank the Government of Montenegro for their support in the launch of this route," the CEO of Flydubai, Ghaith Al Ghaith, said in the statement.
Flydubai added Tivat to its network in June. The airline's network in Central and Eastern Europe includes Belgrade, Bratislava, Bucharest, Prague, Skopje, Sarajevo and Sofia.
