November 15 (SeeNews) - Zagreb has gained a new five-star hotel with the opening of luxury 10 million euro ($11.8 million) Le Premier in the city's central part, the city government said.
The investor is the owner of Zagreb-based Libertas international university, Gojko Ostojic, the city government said in a statement on Tuesday.
Le Premier was opened in a former palace built in 1923 by architect Lav Kalda which has been revamped into a five-star hotel.
The building, a cultural monument, was once occupied by Croatia's PBZ bank.
The hotel offers 62 rooms, a presidential suite, restaurant, spa centre and other facilities.
Students from Libertas international university studying tourism and hotel management will undergo professional training in Le Premier.
