March 21 (SeeNews) - Five Romanian companies were included in the FTSE Russell indices for emerging markets on Monday, the Bucharest stock exchange (BVB) said.
The companies are private healthcare provider MedLife [BSE:M], wine producer Purcari Wineries [WINE], oil pipeline operatir Conpet [COTE], real estate developer Impact [IMP] and restaurant operator Sphera Franchise Group [SFG], BVB said in a press release.
MedLife's shares will be part of the FTSE Global All Cap indices while Purcari, Conpet, Impact and Sphera will be included in the FTSE Global Micro Cap indices.
At the same time, Nuclearelectrica (SNN), already included in the FTSE Global All Cap indices since September 21, 2020, moves from Small Cap to the Mid Cap category.
The global index provider FTSE Russell also announced the exclusion from the FTSE Global Micro Cap indices of the Bittnet Systems [BNET] shares, effective with March 21.
Also starting with March 21, the main index BET and its total return variants reach 20 companies for the first time after including consumer goods distribution Aquila [BSE:AQ].
MedLife traded flat at 23 lei ($5/4.7 euro) on Monday on the BVB at 1320CET.
Purcari shares were flat to 10 lei on the BVB on Monday, at 1315CET.
Conpet shares were up 2.13% to 76.6 lei on the BVB on Monday, as at 1326CET.
Impact's shares were flat at 0.6150 lei on the BVB on Monday, as at 1209CET.
Sphera traded 0.65% higher at 15.45 lei on the BVB on Monday, as at 1313CET.
Nuclearelectrica's shares changed hands 0.44% higher at 45.15 lei on Monday, as at 1324CET.
