June 1 (SeeNews) - The first Hyatt-branded hotel in Montenegro, Hyatt Regency Kotor Bay Resort, has opened in the coastal town of Kotor, its operator Krolbay group said on Thursday.
"This will mark the beginning of a new era of our development and improve the tourism offer. The arrival of Hyatt in Montenegro adds value to our country as a tourist destination," Sasa Saveljic, executive director of Montenegro's Krolbay d.o.o., said in a press release.
Krolbay, owner of Blue Kotor Bay Premium Spa Resort hotel, signed a cooperation agreement in August 2022 with US-based Hyatt Hotels Corporation to operate the hotel under the Hyatt Regency brand starting June 2023.
The hotel features 205 rooms, 21 premium apartments and 26 deluxe apartments.
Elsewhere in Southeast Europe, Hyatt operates in Croatia, Bulgaria and Serbia.
