September 10 (SeeNews) - Financial sector companies sent the Bulgarian Stock Exchange blue-chip SOFIX index 0.45% higher to 576.29 points on Tuesday, after the index snapped a four-day winning streak with a 0.08% decrease on Monday.
Central Cooperative Bank (CCB) [BUL:4CF] led gainers among blue chips on Tuesday, posting a 2.87% rise to 1.615 levs, followed by financial and insurance group Eurohold Bulgaria [BUL:4EH], which advanced 2.13% to 1.92 levs.
CCB and Eurohold were also the top gainers among members of the equally-weighted BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight. The BGTR30 index ended the trading session 0.23% higher at 507.61 points.
The wider BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the stock exchange in Sofia, rose 0.31% to 113.27 points, backed by an 8.91% increase in the share price of fertilisers maker Neochim [BUL:3NB].
The BGREIT index, which tracks real estate investment trusts, edged down 0.10% to 126.64 points, dragged down by a 0.50% decrease in the share price of Bulgarian Real Estate Fund REIT [BUL:5BU].
Regulated market trading turnover dropped to 229,000 levs on Tuesday from 1.26 million levs on Monday.
