May 29 (SeeNews) - First Investment Bank [BUL:5F4] fell the most among the blue chips on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) on Monday, bourse data showed.
Fibank shares closed 4.54% lower at 5.489 levs as 710 shares changed hands. Earlier on Monday, Fibank said it will distribute no dividend. The bank's entire 2016 net profit of 98.8 million levs ($56.5 million/50.5 million euro) will be included in its common equity tier 1 capital.
Аluminium products maker Alcomet [BUL:6AM] led the list of blue-chip gainers on Monday, rising by 2.22% to 18.400 levs in a trading volume of 25 shares.
Industrial conglomerate Chimimport [BUL:6C4] was the most traded blue-chip on Monday as 65,853 shares changed hands at an average price of 1.715 levs.
BSE's total trading turnover edged up to 368,800 levs on Monday, from 315,300 on Friday.
The blue-chip SOFIX index fell by 0.61% to 655.51 points, after adding 0.14% on Friday.
The broader BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the BSE, declined by 0.50% to 130.04 points, following an increase of 0.03% on Friday.
The shares of two BGBX40 constituents - cellulose producer Svilosa [BUL:3MZ] and telecommunications services provider Allterco [BUL:A4L] recorded sharp share price changes on Monday.
Svilosa [BUL:3MZ] shares closed 9.38% higher at 3.500 levs as 1,695 shares changed hands. Svilosa said on Monday its consolidated net profit rose to 4.5 million levs in the first quarter of 2017, from 1.4 million levs in the like period of 2016.
Allterco [BUL:A4L] shares closed 7.06% lower at 2.225 levs as 50 shares changed hands. The company said on Monday its consolidated net loss narrowed to 51,000 levs in the first quarter of 2017, from 90,000 levs in the like period of 2016.
The BG-REIT index, which tracks the performance of real estate investment trusts, added 0.08% to 110.92 points. On Thursday, the index lost 0.13%.
The BG TotalReturn30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, edged down 0.37% to 514.73 points, after closing 0.02% higher on Friday.
