April 13 (SeeNews) - Foreign direct investment (FDI) into Romania rose to 926 million euro ($1.06 billion) in January-February, from 844 million euro in the same period of 2021, the central bank said on Wednesday.
Equity investment (including estimated net reinvestment of earnings) amounted to 1.182 billion euro and inter-company lending totalled a net negative value of 256 million euro at the end of February, the central bank said in a statement citing provisional data.
Foreign direct investment (FDI) into Romania soared to 7.251 billion euro in 2021 from 3 billion euro in the previous year.
