May 14 (SeeNews) - Foreign direct investment (FDI) into Romania fell by 20% year-on-year in the first three months of 2019, to 1.243 billion euro ($1.397 billion), the central bank said on Tuesday.
Equity investment, including estimated net reinvestment of earnings, amounted to 854 million euro and inter-company lending totalled a net 389 million euro at the end of March, the central bank said in a statement, citing provisional data.
FDI into Romania increased by 2.8% year-on-year in 2018 to 4.936 billion euro.
