November 13 (SeeNews) - Foreign direct investment (FDI) into Romania fell by 6.27% year-on-year in the first nine months of 2019, to 4.237 billion euro ($4.666 billion), the central bank said on Wednesday.
Equity investment, including estimated net reinvestment of earnings, amounted to 3.473 billion euro and inter-company lending totalled a net 764 million euro at the end of September, the central bank said in a statement, citing provisional data.
FDI into Romania increased by 2.8% year-on-year in 2018 to 4.936 billion euro.
