October 15 (SeeNews) - Foreign direct investment (FDI) into Romania edged down by 3.1% year-on-year in the first eight months of 2018, to 2.863 billion euro ($3.317 billion), the central bank said on Monday.
Equity investment (including estimated net reinvestment of earnings) amounted to 2.517 billion euro and inter-company lending totalled a net value of 346 million euro at the end of August, the central bank said in a statement, citing provisional data.
FDI into Romania increased by 1.5% in 2017 to an estimated 4.586 billion euro.
