April 13 (SeeNews) - Foreign direct investment (FDI) into Romania decreased by 3.3% year-on-year in the first two months of 2018, to 794 million euro ($978 million), the central bank said on Friday.
Equity investment (including estimated net reinvestment of earnings) amounted to 592 million euro and inter-company lending totalled a net 202 million euro at the end of February, the central bank said in a statement, citing provisional data.
FDI into Romania increased by 1.5% in 2017 to an estimated 4.586 billion euro.
