March 30 (SeeNews) - Foreign direct investments (FDI) into Bosnia and Herzegovina reached 869.9 million marka ($494.1 million/444.8 million euro) in 2021, up 22.1% compared with the previous year, the country's Foreign Investment Promotion Agency (FIPA) said, citing preliminary data from the central bank.
Bosnia is seeing a rise in FDI in the past two years, which results in the increase of the employment rate, the FIPA said in a statement on Tuesday.
In 2020, FDI into Bosnia came in at 712.7 million marka.
The jobless rate in Bosnia and Herzegovina fell to 31% at the end of last year, from 33.7% at the end of 2020, the country's employment agency said earlier.
