September 6 (SeeNews) - Foreign direct investment (FDI) into Bosnia and Herzegovina rose to 210.8 million marka ($128.6 million/107.8 million euro) in the first quarter of 2017, up 28.7% on the year, official figures show.
The total value of reinvested income rose 5.6% year-on-year in the first quarter of 2017 to 123.4 million marka, the Directorate for Economic Planning of the Bosnian government said in a monthly report last week.
Reinvested earnings accounted for about 58.5% of total FDI, versus 70% in the first quarter of 2016, the report showed.
FDI in Bosnia and Herzegovina dropped to 536.3 million marka in 2016 from 615.3 million marka in the prior year, central bank data indicated last month.
