December 28 (SeeNews) - Foreign direct investments (FDI) in Bosnia and Herzegovina rose to 233.5 million marka ($142.6 million/119.4 million euro) in the first nine months of 2017, from 152.0 million marka in the prior-year period, according to central bank data.
Switzerland was the biggest foreign investor in Bosnia in the review period with FDI totalling 67.1 million marka, followed by Other countries with 44.1 million marka and Slovenia with 35.5 million marka, figures show.
By industry, most investments were directed into the manufacturing of basic metals, 43.6 million marka, followed by real estate activities with 37.3 million marka.
