July 12 (SeeNews) - Employees at carmaker FCA Srbija have decided to suspend their strike for 24 hours on July 14 to start talks with the company's management on resolving the labour dispute, Serbian media reported on Wednesday.
"The negotiations will be held on Friday, Saturday and Sunday," news agency Tanjug quoted the secretary of the council of the Confederation of Autonomous Trade Unions, Zoran Mihajlovic, as saying.

Trade union representatives will hold a meeting with the employees on Sunday evening to tell them what has been agreed, Mihajlovic said.
FCA Srbija, a joint venture of Italy's Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) Group and the Serbian government, halted production on June 28 due to a strike of its employees over pay. They demand an increase of the basic salary to 50,000 dinars ($475.1/416.5 euro) from 38,000 dinars.
The company was the biggest Serbian exporter in the first five months of 2017, with export revenue of 468 million euro. The company operates a manufacturing plant in Kragujevac, in central Serbia, where it produces the Fiat 500L model.
