January 24 (SeeNews) - FCA Srbija, a joint venture of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles Group and Serbia's government, remained the largest exporter in the Balkan country in the first 11 months of 2018 despite a drop in exports, finance ministry data shows.
The exports of FCA Srbija fell by 19.6% on the year to 699.7 million euro ($793.7 million), according to figures published on the website of the ministry.

HBIS Group Serbia Iron&Steel, a unit of Chinese steelmaker HBIS, came in close second with exports of 695.3 million euro, up 42.3%.
Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] was Serbia's third biggest exporter in the period under review, with sales abroad up 39.3% to 436.5 million euro.
The combined exports of Serbia's 15 biggest exporters rose by 7.9% year-on-year in the first eleven months of 2018, reaching 4.1 billion euro.
Serbia's trade gap widened 37.4% on the year to $5.894 billion in the period January-November, data from the country's statistical office showed. Exports rose 14.4% to $17.84 billion, while imports grew by 19.4% to $23.734 billion.
