February 17 (SeeNews) - Heating utility EVN Bulgaria Toplofikatsiya said on Monday that it has awarded a 7.7 million levs ($4.3 million/3.9 million euro) contract for the supply and installation of new boilers to Sofia-based Robert Bosch, a wholly-owned unit of Germany's Robert Bosch.
Under the contract signed on January 16, Robert Bosch will supply gas and gas oil-fueled boilers with a 19 + 1 MW capacity, EVN Bulgaria Toplofikatsiya said in a notice.
The procedure for awarding the contract attracted three offers.
Last year, EVN Bulgaria Toplofikatsiya said that it has launched a project for installing five new boilers with a combined capacity of 100 MW. The project is expected to be completed in 2021, the company said at the time.
EVN Bulgaria Toplofikatsia operates nearly 200 kilometres of heating pipelines, servicing 30,000 households and business clients.
