November 19 (SeeNews) - EVN Bulgaria Toplofikatsia, the heating utility servicing the country's second largest city - Plovdiv, said that it started on Tuesday the construction of five new boilers, worth an estimated 23 million levs ($13 million/11.8 million euro).
The new facilities have a total capacity of 100 MW, EVN Bulgaria Toplofikatsia said in a statement.
The project is expected to be completed in 2021.
EVN Bulgaria Toplofikatsia operates nearly 200 kilometres of heating pipelines, servicing 30,000 households and business clients.
