October 29 (SeeNews) - EVN Bulgaria, part of Austrian energy group EVN, said on Friday that its unit Power Distribution South inaugurated an 11.6 million levs ($7 million /5.9 million euro) power substation in Bulgaria's second-largest city Plovdiv.
The facility is fully-automated and remotely managed from our newly-opened control center, Alexander Sipek, regional manager of EVN Bulgaria said in a statement published by the energy company.
The new power substation has a capacity of 50 MVA that can be increased to 100 MVA.
