PRISTINA (Kosovo), November 17 (SeeNews) – The jointly agreed European reform agenda should serve as a guideline for concrete deliverables, the Stabilisation and Association Council (SA Council) between the European Union and Kosovo said on Friday.
The SA Council welcomed the progress made in the dialogue between Pristina and Belgrade and underlined the necessity of the implementation of the agreements reached without delay, according to a press release issued after the second meeting of the council.
"The meeting discussed reform priorities under the SAA [Stabilisation and Association Agreement], in areas including rule of law and judicial reforms, respect for fundamental rights, public administration reform, economic development, education and employment,” the press release reads.
The SA Council also said that Kosovo underlined its firm commitment to deliver swiftly on key SAA reforms, as identified in the European reform agenda, in close coordination with EU institutions, with a view of continued progress on its European path.
SAA is at the core of the relationship between the EU and Kosovo, providing them with the contractual framework for building closer ties.
