January 27 (SeeNews) - Three out of the four main indices of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) closed lower on Friday, with the blue-chip SOFIX losing 0.38% to 614.04 points, bourse data showed.
The SOFIX was dragged down by energy and insurance group Eurohold Bulgaria [BUL:EUBG], which fell 2.23% to 1.75 levs, and fertiliser producer Neochim [BUL:NEOH], which declined by 0.94% to 42.20 levs.
The BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, went down by 0.32% to 140.65 points. It was held back by the loss at Eurohold and a 1.99% decrease in Sopharma Trading [BUL:SFT] to 5.92 levs.
Eurohold and Sopharma Trading were also the top losers in the BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight. The index edged down by 0.08% to 741.04 points.
In contrast, the BGREIT, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, was the only index to go up, by 0.06% to 186.31 points, as Bulgarian Real Estate Fund REIT [BUL:BREF] gained 0.98% to 2.06 levs.
Total turnover on the main market of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange slumped to 484,227 levs ($269,740 /247,580 euro) on Friday from 817,518 levs on Thursday.
The top stock by turnover was diversified group Doverie United Holding [BUL:DUH], which recorded 118,546 levs with 14,708 shares traded. The stock closed 0.25% lower at 8.06 levs.
