July 12 (SeeNews) - Financial and insurance group Eurohold Bulgaria [BUL:4EH] led the blue-chip gainers on the stock exchange in Sofia on Wednesday, bourse data showed.
Shares of Eurohold Bulgaria closed 2.30% higher at 1.289 levs ($0.75/0.66 euro), as 9,000 units changed hands.
Total trading turnover on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange rose to 376,300 levs on Wednesday, from 361,700 levs on Tuesday.
Aluminium products manufacturer Alcomet [BUL:6AM] led the blue-chip decliners on Wednesday, closing 1.92% lower at 17.900 levs.
Drug maker Sopharma [BUL:3JR] was the most traded blue-chip company on Wednesday, as 10,066 of its shares changed hands at an average price of 4.634 levs.
The blue-chip SOFIX index rose by 0.34% to 711.17 points, after closing 0.07% lower on Tuesday.
The broader BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the BSE, added 0.15% to 134.04 points, after rising 0.08% on Tuesday.
The BG-REIT index, which tracks the performance of real estate investment trusts, lost 0.11% to 113.76 points on Wednesday. On Tuesday, the index edged down by 0.01%.
The BG TotalReturn30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, added 0.01% to 537.46 points, after rising by 0.06% on Tuesday.
