SOFIA (Bulgaria), October 16 (SeeNews) – Financial and insurance group Eurohold Bulgaria [BUL:4EH] was the top blue-chip gainer on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange on Monday, bourse data showed.
Eurohold Bulgaria closed 4.52% higher at 1.319 levs ($0.79/0.67 euro) as 1,500 shares changed hands.
The blue-chip SOFIX index rose 0.17% to 670.28 points on Monday, after a 0.13% increase on Friday.
The broader BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE), added 0.05% to 131.31 points, after edging up 0.05% on Friday.
The BG-REIT index, which tracks the performance of real estate investment trusts, increased 0.12% to 115.13 points on Monday. On Friday, the index closed 0.21% lower.
The BG TotalReturn30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, added 0.12% to 546.66 points, following a 0.06% drop on Friday.
Total trading turnover on the bourse's regulated market rose to 1.2 million levs on Monday from 430,357 levs on Friday.
Industrial Holding Bulgaria [BUL:4ID] was the most traded blue chip on Monday, as 16,570 of the company’s shares changed hands at an average price of 1.01 levs.
Central Cooperative Bank [BUL:4CF] fell the most among blue chips on the Sofia bourse, closing 1.45% lower at 1.7 levs.
