SOFIA (Bulgaria), December 20 (SeeNews) – Financial and insurance group Eurohold Bulgaria [BUL:4EH] was the top blue-chip gainer on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange on Wednesday, bourse data showed.
Eurohold Bulgaria closed 4.62% higher at 1.360 levs ($0.82/0.69 euro), as 21,600 of its shares changed hands during the trading session.
Total turnover on BSE's regulated market shrank to 2.37 million levs on Wednesday from 3.5 million levs on Tuesday.
Drug maker Sopharma [BUL:3JR] was the most traded blue-chip on Wednesday as 48,179 of its shares traded at an average price of 4.271 levs.
The BSE's blue-chip SOFIX index rose 0.15% to 663.79 points on Wednesday after edging up by 0.09% on Tuesday.
The broader BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the BSE, added 0.28% to 129.76 points, after losing 0.06% on Tuesday.
The BG-REIT index, which tracks the performance of real estate investment trusts, fell 0.13% to 114.32 points on Wednesday. On Monday, the index closed 0.15% lower.
The BG TotalReturn30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, added 0.36% to 548.62 points, following a 0.02% increase on Tuesday.
Resort operator Albena [BUL:6AB] fell the most among blue chips on Wednesday, closing 1.13% lower at 61.50 levs.
