SOFIA (Bulgaria), December 5 (SeeNews) – Financial and insurance group Eurohold Bulgaria [BUL:4EH] fell the most among the blue chips on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) on Tuesday, bourse data showed.
Eurohold Bulgaria closed 5.38% lower at 1.301 levs ($0.79/0.66 euro) in a trading volume of 10,120 shares.
The total trading turnover on the regulated market of the Sofia bourse soared to 25.9 million levs on Tuesday from 200,440 levs on Monday on the back of trade in shares of local drug maker Sopharma [BUL:3JR]. A total of 6 million Sopharma shares changed hands during the trading session at an average weighted price of 4.27 per share.
Diversified conglomerate Doverie United Holding [BUL:5DOV] rose the most among the blue chips, as it closed 5.33% higher at 2.233 levs. Earlier on Tuesday, Doverie United Holding said Sopharma has increased its stake in the company to 32.49%.
The BSE's blue-chip SOFIX index fell 0.20% to 668.19 points on Tuesday after adding 0.38% on Monday.
The broader BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the BSE, decreased 0.34% to 130.52 points, after adding 0.34% on Monday.
The BG-REIT index, which tracks the performance of real estate investment trusts, edged down 0.11% to 113.98 points on Tuesday. On Monday, the index closed 0.03% higher.
The BG TotalReturn30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, lost 0.25% to 548.79 points, following a 0.55% increase on Monday.
