September 4 (SeeNews) - Financial and insurance group Eurohold Bulgaria [BUL:4EH] generated more than half of the trading turnover on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) on Monday, bourse data showed.
Total trading turnover on the BSE rose to 2.83 million levs on Monday, from 1.5 million levs on Friday. Eurohold Bulgaria generated 59.9% of the total daily turnover as 1.3 million of the company shares changed hands at an average price of 1.308 levs.
Aluminium products manufacturer Alcomet [BUL:6AM] led the blue-chip decliners in Monday's trading session, closing 4.31% lower at 15.501 levs.
First Investment Bank (Fibank) [BUL:5F4] led the blue-chip gainers, as its shares rose by 4.81% to 5.450 levs.
The blue-chip SOFIX index fell by 0.65% to 705.70 points, after adding 0.69% on Friday.
The broader BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the BSE, lost 0.39% to 134.85 points, after adding 0.39% on Friday.
The BG-REIT index, which tracks the performance of real estate investment trusts, added 0.61% to 116.16 points on Monday. On Friday, the index decreased by 0.10%.
The BG TotalReturn30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, increased by 0.46% to 557.94 points, after losing 0.12% on Friday.
