June 2 (SeeNews) - The European Commission said it has disbursed 160 million euro ($195.2 million) in macro-financial assistance (MFA) to Kosovo, Montenegro and North Macedonia intended to mitigate the economic fallout of the COVID-19 pandemic on their economies
Kosovo has received 50 million euro, Montenegro - 30 million euro and North Macedonia - 80 million euro, the Commission said in a press release on Tuesday.
Thus, the EU's executive body has delivered the second and final tranches under the Covid-19 MFA package to the three countries. Kosovo previously received 50 million euro, Montenegro got 30 million euro and North Macedonia received 80 million euro.
The disbursement is part of a 3 billion euro MFA package agreed between the European Union and ten enlargement and neighbourhood partners.
