April 3 (SeeNews) - The European Commission said that it has closed two infringement procedures against Bulgaria concerning EU rules on passenger name record data and a framework decision on criminal law.
Bulgaria has now fully transposed into its national legislation the Passenger Name Record Directive, and the Council Framework Decision concerning the mutual recognition to judgments in criminal matters imposing custodial sentences, the European Commission said in a statement on Thursday.
Bulgaria received a letter of formal notice in July 2019 over its failure to transpose the above-mentioned Council Framework Decision.
