April 6 (SeeNews) - Banca Comerciala Romana (BCR), part of Austria's Erste Group, plans to list a 351.5 million lei ($78 million/71 million euro) bond issue on the main market of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, its first bond listing this year, the bourse said on Wednesday.
Trading in the new bond issue will be start on April 8 under the ticker BCR27, the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) said in a press release.
BCR issued and sold 703 corporate bonds with a nominal value of 500,000 lei each and interest rate of 6.67% per annum. Maturity date is March 31, 2027.
The total value of BCR bonds available for trading on the BVB amounts to over 3 billion lei.
BCR has six bond issues listed on Bucharest Stock Exchange so far, with the first one already having reached maturity. The second bond issue, worth 600 million lei is available for trading since December 2019 under the ticker BCR26. Last year BCR listed three bond issues, including one of green bonds, that will mature in 2028.
BCR, a member of Erste Group, is one of the most important financial groups in Romania, including universal banking operations, as well as companies in the leasing market, private pensions and housing banks.
